Position Overview:
SEG Solar is expanding its horizons in the solar industry and seeks an enthusiastic Cost Accountant to join our innovative team. If you're passionate about contributing to a greener world, eager to grow professionally, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities:

• Record keeping; maintaining accurate vendor files, stamp supplier contracts, and safe keeping financial records and any supporting documents.
• Invoice processing; verification and entering of invoices in system.
• Making payments; post weekly payments in system.
• Reporting; AP aging report and other reports as needed.
• Reconciliation; bank reconciliation, vendor prepayment and AP reconciliation.
• Physical inventory; know the concept of wall-to-wall and perform inventory count if needed
• Provide month-end support

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience; 2-5 years of experience in Accounting/AP, preferably in large scale manufacturing accounting.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is a preferred.
• Able to collaborate with other departments to resolve issues, including overseas team in China.
• Sharp analytical skills paired with an eye for detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Work, and One drive, Oracle NetSuite, ERP, and OA systems.
• Detail oriented, problem solving, analytical thinking, self-learner, self-motivated, and well organized.
• Ability to multitask effectively and deliver under tight deadlines.

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Houston, TX 77095: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Accounting: 2-5 years (Preferred)

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
