**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown Nurse to join our team. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and possess a strong background in neuro-critical care or intensive care units (ICU). The successful applicant must be adept in patient management and committed to delivering high-quality care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct patient care for individuals on Neuro-Progressive and Stepdown units.
- Deliver competent nursing care and ensure patient safety.
- Utilize Epic for electronic medical recordkeeping.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Participate in patient assessments, monitoring, and planning care protocols.
- Complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam as part of the onboarding process.
**Requirements:**
- Must have Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience.
- Epic experience is required.
- Must wear navy blue scrubs.
- Local candidates must be from eligible counties as of 1/11/2024.
**Qualifications:**
- Active nursing license (pending state license considered).
- Minimum of [X years] experience in Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU settings.
- Ability to float to other units if necessary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
