Job Title: Director of Tennis Location: Hammock Bay Golf and Country Club at the JW Marriott Marco Island Organized By: Reynolds Tennis LLC Compensation: 100% Commission-Based | Estimated Annual Income: ~$75,000+ Job Description: Hammock Bay Golf and Country Club, located at the JW Marriott Marco Island, is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Director of Tennis to lead and expand its tennis program. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about tennis, exceptional at customer service, and driven to grow both personally and professionally. About the Role: The Director of Tennis will be responsible for managing all aspects of the tennis operation, including programming, private instruction, team development, guest services, and pro shop management. The club has an enthusiastic and active tennis community with regular drills, lessons, and team play. In addition, the Director will provide tennis services for resort guests at the JW Marriott Marco Island. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop all tennis programming (clinics, lessons, social events, leagues, etc.)
• Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests
• Deliver private and group instruction for all skill levels
• Oversee and operate the tennis pro shop (sales, stringing, inventory management)
• Manage court scheduling and maintenance needs in collaboration with club staff
• Promote the tennis program within the club and local community
• Create an inclusive, energetic, and professional tennis environment

Qualifications:

• USPTA or PTR Certification
• Previous experience in a leadership or teaching role at a tennis facility
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to manage a business independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Compensation Structure: This is a 100% commission-based position with an estimated first-year income of $75,000, and significant potential for growth as the program transitions from an eight-month seasonal program to year-round.
