This role provides the opportunity to manage and grow relationships with small and medium-sized business accounts, ensuring customers achieve maximum value from their software solutions. The SMB Account Manager will proactively engage clients, uncover opportunities, and deliver personalized support while driving retention and expansion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to address customer needs, conduct business reviews, and provide demos and training. The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder with a strategic mindset, comfortable managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. Success in this role directly impacts customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and the overall adoption of the platform.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with a portfolio of SMB customer accounts through proactive outreach and consultative engagement.
  • Manage contract renewals and lead negotiations to ensure retention and revenue growth.
  • Conduct business reviews, product demonstrations, and training sessions to enhance customer success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to solve complex customer challenges and ensure seamless support.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and expand the book of business through referrals and upselling.
  • Maintain detailed records of account activity, track metrics, and provide insights to improve team performance.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of quota-carrying inside sales experience with consistent overachievement of targets.
  • Experience with outbound sales, prospecting, and full-cycle B2B sales preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, able to coordinate across multiple teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; natural relationship builder with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Comfortable conducting presentations and explaining technical product features to varied audiences.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms, Salesforce.com, or construction industry software is a plus.
  • Metrics-driven mindset with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote, high-performing sales environment.
