Position Summary
Endocrine Specialists, PC is seeking dedicated Medical Assistants to join our esteemed private practice. Our office operates in a fast-paced environment, serving a high volume of patients while maintaining family friendly hours. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who demonstrates a strong ability to multitask and provides exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patient charts and refill medications
Generate and send lab orders
Take and record vital signs, update patient records in the EMR
Educate patients on pre-procedure and post-procedure care instructions
Retrieve lab results and administer injections
Manage patient check-ins and check-outs
Ensure compliance with infection control, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations
Coordinate patient flow, schedule appointments, and verify insurance information
Maintain inventory of medical and cleaning supplies
Provide compassionate support to patients throughout their visits
Efficiently manage a high volume of inbound calls, ensuring timely responses
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or equivalent experience preferred
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience or outpatient procedure clinic strongly preferred
Familiarity with EMR systems and strong documentation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Certifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA
