Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting production lines. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and technical aptitude, previous experience in a high-speed industrial environment, and the ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Orlando, FL
Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00/hr (DOE) Schedule: 2nd shift working 6:00 pm - 6:30 am (must be available on weekends)
What's the Job?
Provide immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform immediate repairs on industrial machinery.
Overhaul and install new mechanical equipment and systems.
Rebuild, fabricate, and weld mechanical parts and components.
Perform routine facility maintenance and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
Assist with change-overs and continuous improvement of production processes.
Troubleshoot and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
What's Needed?
At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience.
Proven experience working in a high-speed, industrial environment.
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, with hands-on experience in machinery repair and maintenance.
Basic computer skills for reporting and tracking maintenance tasks.
Ability to read and interpret manufacturers' specifications and mechanical schematics.
Previous experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming.
