Join Leidos, an innovative company tackling some of the world's most pressing challenges in national security and health. Our Global Supply Chain organization is searching for a Lead Subcontracts Specialist to enhance the National Security Sector programs, proposals, and business objectives.

As a pivotal member of our team, you will engage in full lifecycle subcontract management activities, directly impacting US Government programs that focus on national security. This role demands a detail-oriented individual who thrives both independently and collaboratively.

Your responsibilities will revolve around managing the entire subcontracting process, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, company policies, and applicable laws and acquisition regulations. You will be the primary interface between subcontractors and the program for contractual management of agreements that involve medium-to-high dollar value, risk, creativity, and complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support proposal activities, including negotiation of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and teaming agreements.
  • Prepare solicitation packages based on customer requirements.
  • Evaluate subcontractor proposals and perform price analysis.
  • Negotiate prices and terms and conditions.
  • Manage subcontract award and post-award activities, including modifications, risk identification & mitigation, issue resolution, internal reporting, and closeout activities.

Your assignments will grow in complexity as you demonstrate proficiency, judgment, and business acumen.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience or Master's with 2-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Ability to communicate clearly statuses and issues to management, internal partners, and suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
  • Experience in awarding and managing subcontracts within a government-approved purchasing system, with knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements.
  • Negotiation experience on prices and terms and conditions.
  • Familiarity with automated purchasing systems (preferably Deltek Costpoint and iValua).
  • Active Security Clearance preferred but not required.
