We are looking for an HR Generalist at our Marshall, Missouri food manufacturing facility, where we make frozen meals including dinners and pot pies from brands like Banquet, Healthy Choice and Kid Cuisine. This is an onsite role.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll help support plant operations through impactful HR strategies —from employee engagement to labor relations and strategic project management. What you'll do in this role:
Be a strategic HR partner by building consultative relationships with plant leadership—providing daily guidance on employee matters, coaching for development, and effectively influencing and challenging leaders to drive performance and achieve business goals.
Support employee relations initiatives, ensuring compliance with labor laws, union contracts, EEO, AAP, and diversity policies
Collaborate with HR centers of excellence and departments such as Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, Legal, and Finance to support business needs
Partner with Talent Acquisition to support recruitment efforts, workforce planning, and onboarding processes
Analyze HR data and reports to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement in retention, turnover, and engagement
Coordinate and implement training, development, and health promotion programs to enhance team performance
Support HR planning and organizational development initiatives, including documentation and resolution of employee issues and grievances
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
3+ years of professional experience in Human Resources in a plant manufacturing environment.
Direct experience with labor relations in a collective workforce setting.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Experience managing leaves of absences, FMLA, and payroll.
Experience with ERISA, EEOC and DOL regulations, employment sourcing, communications, human relations, and management skills
Experience with benefits and compensation administration, market pricing, labor law, and organizational development
Conflict management and mediation skills
Relocation assistance is available for this position. Preference will be given to local candidates.
Number of days in the office onsite at the manufacturing plant: 5 days a week

Compensation:
Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
