IT Support Technician, M365 Migration Project

Temporary contract position until 1/3/2026 with possibility of extension.

Mon-Fri 8 AM-5PM

We're looking for a highly motivated IT Support Technician to join our clients' team for an exciting, large-scale project focused on migrating their shared network drives to Microsoft 365. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional to gain hands-on experience with a major enterprise-level project.

In this role, you will be a key part of their IT support team, directly assisting end-users with the migration process. Your work will involve hands-on setup, troubleshooting, and direct customer interaction to ensure a smooth transition to the new Microsoft 365 environment. You'll work closely with other technical teams to resolve issues and provide a seamless experience for all users.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct support for the shared drives migration to Microsoft 365 , assisting end-users with file access, syncing, and new system navigation.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot end-user hardware, software, and peripherals, including desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners.
• Document all support interactions and troubleshooting steps taken in help desk tickets with clear and detailed descriptions.
• Assist with the deployment of new software and applications using workstation management tools.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on IT devices as requested by users.
• Collaborate with networking and server teams to ensure proper end-user connectivity.
• Contribute to maintaining accurate inventory records for hardware and related assets.
• Provide clear and concise documentation and, when needed, assist with end-user training.
• Complete assigned tasks and project deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
• This is an hourly position that may require taking on-call shifts and the ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. and work in confined spaces like under desks.

Skills and Qualifications

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Office 365 , and all current Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems.
• Familiarity with Internet browsers and mobile devices.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Workstation management software (e.g., SCCM).
• Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• At least one year of experience in a desktop support or technical support role in a corporate environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the healthcare industry.
• Experience in an enterprise-level environment.
• Associate's Degree in a computer or technology-related field.

Preferred Certifications

• A+ Certification.
• Security+, Network+, or MTA certification (within 180 days of hire).
