About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to spearhead its financial strategy. The CFO will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. This role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in financial management, particularly within the manufacturing sector and, ideally, in a private equity-backed environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, board of directors, and private equity stakeholders to ensure that financial operations are in line with the company's strategic goals and that financial performance is optimized. Key responsibilities for the CFO include overseeing all financial operations, driving capital structure decisions, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and leading M&A initiatives. The role also requires a strong leader with expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and managing large-scale financial operations. The CFO will be expected to have a deep understanding of manufacturing financial management, industry regulations, and compliance, and to possess strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, with an MBA or CPA being preferred. The position is based in the Chicago Metro Area and demands a commitment to being on-site 4 days a week.
