Are you passionate about enriching young people's lives through engaging activities in the STEM and technology field, all while educating the whole child?

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as Lead Instructors in our after school programs. Lead instructors guide students through our world class project based learning curriculum to learn new 21st skills in gaming, collaboration, play, problem solving, and decision-making.

• Full school year in 10 week sessions, with options to continue into additional seasons

• Get in-room classroom management and technology experience with excited students

• No formal experience required, but teaching experience in some capacity highly preferred

• PAID training!

Requirements

• Experience with teaching PreK-3 and using technology with students preferred

• Reliable transportation throughout Natomas School District

• Must be available after school hours (approximately 2:00 - 6:00 PM), daily Monday - Friday

• Consistent attendance is REQUIRED, substitutes are not available

• Instructors must be at least 21 years of age

• Experience with children in an educational setting is preferred but not required, Prek-3 background or degree recommended

• Comfortable working with teacher-to-student ratios of 12:1

• Experience with technology preferred, such as a background in 3D modeling, digital arts, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, competitive gaming, etc. or significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox, including modding or streaming

• This is an after-school, part-time, hourly position

• $20/hr - $27/hr
